Purpose: To explain how to Connect to TMU-WiFi with a Personal Device

TMU-WiFi vs TMU-Guest

TMU Faculty and Staff should connect to TMU WiFi as opposed to TMU-Guest. TMU-Guest has a shortened lease time and will require you to reconnect frequently. This document walks you through signing in to TMU-WiFi on any device.

Removing Private Wi-Fi Addressing

Private Wi-Fi Addressing is a feature integrated in all Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android devices. This feature will randomize your Mac-address from time-to-time, causing the network to forget your device and requiring you to re-register. For best connectivity, we recommend turning off this feature. You can follow the instructions in the following helpdoc: https://tmufacstaff.helpdocsite.com/wifi-network/remove-private-wi-fi-addressing.

On the taskbar, click on the Wi-Fi icon in the bottom right-hand corner.
Select the network available to you and click connect: TMU-WiFi.

Open your internet web browser and you will be automatically directed to the authentication page.
