To protect the TMU community and our digital environment, student email account access will end three years after graduation. Alumni email accounts are a frequent target for sophisticated cyberattacks. By deactivating alumni accounts 3 years after graduation, TMU can better safeguard its institutional systems, its community members, and its mission: For Christ & Scripture.

What to expect

You will receive a notice at your TMU email address in advance of your account deactivation. This notice will include the specific date your access will end and instructions on how to save your email data.

Once your account is deactivated:

• You will no longer be able to sign in to your TMU mailbox.

• You will no longer be able to send or receive messages using that address.

• Your email content will be preserved for a defined period according to TMU’s data-retention policies.

If you need a copy of your email data after deactivation, you may request it by contacting the IT Service Desk.

You can follow our instructions for importing your email data into a personal mailbox:

How to Import your Email Archive into Gmail
How to Import Your Email Archive into Outlook

Need access to transcripts?

If you no longer have an active alumni account, you can still order official transcripts or request unofficial transcripts here: https://www.masters.edu/academics/registrar/

Attending graduate school?

For our alumni who are attending graduate school, please email the IT Service Desk at servicedesk@masters.edu and we can evaluate needs to retain your mailbox.

Need assistance?

For questions regarding account access or to request your email data, please contact the IT Service Desk at servicedesk@masters.edu.

Although access to your student email account will end, there are several ways to remain connected to The Master’s University and its alumni community.
